It’s nothing new to use PayPal to pay for Google Pay products. Although the two firms announced their relationship some year ago, they just agreed to prolong it. As a result, you may link your PayPal account to Google Pay on Android to use it as a payment option while using Google’s digital wallet platform. It’s also compatible with Google services, including the Play Store, Gmail, YouTube, and the Google Store.
How to include PayPal as a payment option
PayPal made a considerable change: adding PayPal as a payment method to any Google service will make it a payment method for all Google services, including Google Pay, YouTube, Gmail, and Google Store. You may link your PayPal account to Google Pay in a few different ways. On Android, the Google Pay mobile app makes the most sense. The Google Pay web app is your best option on iOS. However, you can link PayPal to Google Pay on Android or iOS and use it to pay for things online everywhere Google Pay is accepted.

PayPal and Google Pay have limitations.
For the time being, PayPal can only be used in Google Pay, where PayPal is accepted as a payment method. So while you may use your Google Pay balance, PayPal is still not an option. Put another way, it will take time for the integration to be smooth. In addition, if your PayPal balance is insufficient to complete a transaction, the top-up amount you choose will be instantly transferred to your PayPal balance. As a result, if you purchase anything for $1.04 but only have $1.00 in your PayPal account, you will receive your average top-up amount – at least $10 – from PayPal, thereby leaving you with at least $9.96. Fortunately, the money may be withdrawn back into a bank account if necessary.
