Ever landed upon a well-designed website that is beautifully curated for the users? After observing the elegant User Interface and graphic design, you start to wonder about the faces that remain behind the curtains and who put all the time and effort into designing this well-designed website.

At the bottom of the website is a section termed “Meet the Team”, where you gain a lot of information about the company and its employees. A Meet the Team section usually gives the readers a fair idea about the minds behind the company. It’s probably the most impactful section of the website; you can think of it as an ‘about the author’ page in a book.

Many new websites either don’t have a good ‘meet the team’ page or don’t think it is worthwhile to include it on their websites. Designing and curating the page can be tricky sometimes; there are so many aspects that the team can be formed.

Points that should be included on a Meet the Team Page

A critical thing that all website creators should do is make a personal connection between them and the readers when they are creating a Meet the Team page. Especially in a business website, people are looking to get a clear view of the company and want efficient information. Remember, for a business website, there could be potential customers that want to strike multi-million dollar deals with the company, and thus, having a presentable website becomes essential.

Some key points to keep in mind while making a Meet the Team page

  • Showing a clear overview of the employees of the company and its founder
  • Adding the overall objectives and goals of the company that they want to achieve and do for the society
  • Try to avoid the shortcomings and hardships that the company had to face till now
  • Always start the Meet the Team page with the company’s tagline or the founder’s vision
  • The use of pessimistic language should be avoided
  • Depict some motivations that the founder had while founding the company.

In the next section, let’s look at some of the perfectly made Meet the Team pages.
